Join us for one of the most joyful Windrush events West London has to offer. On Saturday 21st June, Shepherd’s Bush Market will host a performance in honour of Windrush Day. To recognise the incredible contributions of the Windrush Generation to British life and culture.
Taking centre stage under Arch 186 will be the brilliant New Generation Steel Orchestra, a youth-led steel pan band with over 30 talented young musicians aged 7 to 21. Based in West London, this award-winning charity uses music to bring people together, tackle social exclusion. With their music, they raise up the next generation through rhythm, confidence, and community.
