Poets have competed in three thrilling rounds at Next Door Records (304 Uxbridge Rd, W12 7LJ). Now, the top nine finalists will battle for the grand prize. Expect spoken word performances, improv comedy, and live music in an electric setting.
🎤 Poetry Slam Finale – Nine finalists compete for the grand prize. A panel of acclaimed poets will judge the performances.📖 Open Mic – Attendees can take part by completing and performing an Al-Mutanabbi verse.🎭 Improv Comedy Show – The Bazaar improv team will deliver a spontaneous and hilarious set.🎶 Live Music – The Living Room Collective band will perform.🤝 Networking & Drinks – Meet like-minded poetry lovers, artists, and creatives.
This event proudly supports HFEH Mind’s “30 for 30K” campaign, raising £300K for mental health services. Attendees can also learn about the short film “Ashes of a Dying Ember,” which explores asylum, displacement, and identity.
