Shepherd’s Bush Market is proud to announce its partnership with Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing & Hounslow (HFEH) Mind for the Thirty for 30K campaign. As a key part of this initiative, the Market will kick off its involvement by hosting a Time to Talk Day event. On 6th February 2025, head to SBM and meet with the Mind volunteers who will be encouraging open discussions around mental health.
With support from Graphenstone’s Purifying Paint, five brightly coloured benches we will be installing throughout Shepherd’s Bush Market. These eco-friendly benches not only absorb CO2 but are also providing inviting spaces. Locals, traders, and visitors can engage in honest conversations about mental health. On Time to Talk Day, HFEH Mind staff will be present at each bench, ready to chat with passers-by. They are also able to signpost mental health services in addition to encouraging a much-needed dialogue about wellbeing.
The Thirty for 30K campaign aims to spark 30,000 conversations about mental health across Hammersmith & Fulham. By collaborating with local businesses, community groups, and individuals, the campaign is creating opportunities for people to share their experiences, reduce stigma, and access vital support.
“Shepherd’s Bush Market is delighted to be partnering with HFEH Mind,” said Andrew Thorpe, Managing Director of Yoo Capital, which owns the Market. “As a destination for shopping, socialising, and community, we are committed to fostering an open and supportive environment where mental health can be freely discussed.”
Join us on 6th February, from 11am-4pm. Whether you’re a regular shopper, a trader, or simply passing through, take a moment to sit, talk, and listen. Let’s make Shepherd’s Bush Market a hub for mental health awareness, where conversations can lead to positive change.
